An emoji with heart eyes from a 29 year old to a 76 year old married man is weird, but that’s the least problematic characteristic from someone that describes themselves as a “proud Islamophobe” and supports “pro-white nationalism.” It’s even more problematic when this person is advising the President of the United States on national security personnel decisions.

Laura Loomer, far-right provocateur and NOT a national security expert, advocated for the firing of certain national security officials over a lack of loyalty (not competency or job merit) and Trump actually fired them the next day. This was also after she encouraged him to reassign Mike Waltz and had influence on other hiring decisions. One could say they were “Loomered” (but please don’t). For those keeping score at home, an avowed racist is telling your president what to do.

“Low IQ”

Sheila Jackson Lee was a black Democratic Congresswoman when she died of cancer at age 74. On the day of her death, Loomer tweeted that Lee was a “ghetto bitch” and “one of the most low IQ members of Congress in the history of our nation.”

The “low IQ” insult has been gaining traction on the right for some time. It’s a disgusting racist dog whistle that allows them to signal to their bigoted base without being openly hateful. Donald Trump has a long history of using this term because racism is a family heirloom for the Trumps and all other fascists. Black Americans are used to having racist presidents, but we as a society need to do better for our brothers and sisters. Racists don’t have any business visiting the office of the White House…or holding it.

Getting Loomered

After having so much influence on Trump and traveling with him during campaign events, it’s easy to see why rumors of an affair would spread, especially given the First Lady’s lack of time spent with her husband. Now you can say someone is getting Loomered.
