Not Just Trump

Pedophilia and grooming have been obsessions for Republicans for a long time. Like, decades, and it’s only gotten worse. That’s a long time to be thinking about children in a sexual way. A lot of Americans don’t agree with this ridiculous and dangerous campaign, but that hasn’t stopped Republicans from attacking Sesame Street for the following message: “On our street, everyone is welcome. Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and respected for who they are. Happy #PrideMonth!” If you think this is inappropriate for children, you’re the problem. A hateful, bigoted problem.

Another problem for Republicans is that when it comes to pedophilia and grooming, they’re often the perpetrators. The receipts:

• Robert Morris, Donald Trump’s former spiritual adviser, confessed to sexually assaulting a 12 year old when he was 21. The assaults happened repeatedly over a period of 4 years. 
• Matt Walsh, conservative podcast host, wants the age of consent lowered to 16 because that’s when girls are at their most “fertile.” 
• Matt Gaetz, Trump’s original nominee for Attorney General, was found to have “substantial evidence” against him which “indicates that Gaetz had sex with an underage girl.” Of course he wasn’t held accountable.
• Linda McMahon, who leads Trump’s Department of Education and is an AI expert, is being sued by former ring boys who claim they were raped when they were underage by multiple employees at the WWE. McMahon, they allege, knew about it and ignored the situation. 
• Lawrence Taylor, who Trump invited to the White House recently, is a registered sex offender after having sex with a 16 year old girl. Karl Malone must not have been available. 

This is going to take a while. There are A LOT of Republican child predators. This list, this list, and this list all contain thousands of names…each. This might be why Republicans are trying to make pedophilia legal. In Tennessee, Republican state Rep. Tom Leatherwood is trying to pass a bill to provide “an alternative form of marriage for those pastors and other individuals who have a conscientious objection to the current pathway to marriage in our law.” The most disturbing part (other than specifying this is for “pastors”)? There’s no age limit. 

For years, Republicans have been attacking drag queens over this very issue, and yet, there are no drag queens on those lists. It’s almost like accusations are confessions. As these Republican predatory monsters sashay, away to prison, we’ll keep serving realness, spilling the tea, and throwing shade. Reading is fundamental, so the library will stay open.

Cover up

Donald Trump is getting a lot of help to avoid accountability over the Epstein files. Instead of our public servants in Congress finishing their normal term and working for the American people like they’re supposed to, Speaker Mike Johnson decided to let them go a week early to give the White House the “space” to release the Epstein information they have. In reality, the “space” is most likely to alter and redact the files that show Donald Trump was a child predator and sex trafficker.

Which is exactly what happened. Under the direction of the Justice Department (specifically Pam Bondi), hundreds of F.B.I. employees and federal prosecutors were taken off of their actual job of fighting actual crime to work in 24 hour shifts over a two week period without being allowed to leave. The entire time, they reviewed over 100,000 documents related to the Epstein case with two main purposes: 1) find anything they can release to the public and 2) flag each time Donald Trump’s name was mentioned. Not only is there a log of each time Trump’s name is mentioned in the government’s possession right now, but there are video and PDF training materials that instructed them how to collect the information. When the investigation was complete, Bondi informed the President his name was found several times. And then closed the case. It should go without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway: completely innocent people with nothing to hide don’t do this. 

Speaking of the files, what exactly does the government have that they are hiding from the American people? Here’s what we know:

• 40 computer and electronic devices
• 26 storage drives
• More than 70 CDs and six recording devices
• Approximately 60 pieces of physical evidence, including photos, travel logs and employee logs
• Three discs containing the outcome of court-authorized intercepts of a phone number previously belonging to Ms. Maxwell.
• More than 10,000 downloaded videos and images of illegal child sex material and other pornography

There’s a total of 300 gigabytes of information in the possession of the FBI (which is equivalent to well over 1 million documents). What else is the government hiding? Senator Ron Wyden opened an investigation in 2022 into Epstein’s financial history and uncovered some troubling information (more on that later). Based on those findings, the Biden Administration allowed investigators to look through reports of suspicious bank activity in order to find evidence of who financed Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex trafficking operation. In just one of Epstein’s many accounts, they found 4,725 wire transfers adding up to nearly $1.1 billion, in addition to “details about women and girls being trafficked…Epstein henchman who carried out his orders, information about banks looking the other way, government agencies sleepwalking.” Epstein had accounts at several banks, including some in Russia. 

However, all that work abruptly stopped in January of 2025 when the Trump administration blocked any further investigation, as well as subsequent attempts at renewing it. If we have thousands of new pieces of evidence that could help uncover the people who paid Jeffery Epstein for these disgusting and illegal crimes, why isn’t our law enforcement out there tracking them down? Sounds like they were too busy redacting Donald Trump’s name to bother actually finding justice for the victims and answering the demands of the American people. Why isn’t Maurene Comey, a federal prosecutor who worked on the Epstein case and a member of one of the most elite prosecution offices in the Justice Department, digging into this case? Because she and many other attorneys who have worked on cases against Trump were fired by him with no explanation. 

Republicans in Congress are trying to protect pedophiles with every chance they get. The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services has twice blocked an investigation into the growing body of evidence that J.P. Morgan enabled Epstein’s operations. 51 Senate Republicans blocked an attempt to force the release of the Epstein files. Republicans on the House Rules Committee also blocked the release. Adelita Grijalva was recently elected into Congress and Speaker Mike Johnson is purposefully delaying swearing her in because she will be a tiebreaker to force a vote on the release of the files. Hell, they’re just making things up as they go. The majority of Americans are not happy with how the Trump administration has handled the issue of the Epstein files and MAGA (including the ones that voted for these cowards in Congress) are solely to blame. 

 Why is the Trump Administration not releasing any of these files himself? People are outraged:

Bu-bu-but what about Obama and Biden?? Why didn’t they release the files??!!

For starters, the Biden administration was working with Congress to investigate Epstein before Trump shut that down. But if a democrat did something wrong, hold them accountable. ANYONE who has done something wrong should be held accountable by the laws we have that govern our democratic society. PERIOD. If you protect pedophiles and deny justice to the victims, you should be prosecuted. See? It isn’t that difficult. 

The Victims

If nothing else, listen to the victims. Their testimony under oath got Epstein and Maxwell convicted in a court of law. Their courage to relive those painful experiences is what put a stop to it in the first place and they are denied justice with every day that passes. 

Listen to them when they recount trying to escape Epstein’s island by attempting to swim to safety, only to be captured and have their passport taken. 

Listen to them when they ask for the Epstein files to be released, especially since there’s “nothing to hide.”

Listen to them when they say the firing of Maureen Comey was wrong.

Listen to them when they worry about a possible pardon for Maxwell. 

Listen to them when they question the suspicious circumstances of Maxwell meeting with Blanche. 

Listen to them, unlike the FBI did, after the victims asked the bureau twice to look into Donald Trump and his involvement with Epstein.

Listen to them through the years of lawsuits and accusations. 

Listen to the 26 women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct, including multiple rapes.

Listen to them before any more victims, not “objects” to be “stolen,” commit suicide. 

Listen to them when they share details of the RAPE, SEXUAL MISCONDUCT, CRIMINAL SEXUAL ACTS, SEXUAL ABUSE, FORCIBLE TOUCHING, ASSAULT, BATTERY, INTENTIONAL AND RECKLESS INFLICTION OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, DURESS, FALSE IMPRISONMENT, AND DEFAMATION that Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein inflicted on them.
