When it comes to presidents telling lies, Donald Trump is not the first, but he is the worst. Why do we allow the President of the United States to lie to us? Not just this fascist Donald Trump, but any president? The people need to take back the power and hold our leaders accountable. Let’s fact check this fascist:
Trump: “The fact that 300 million people died last year from drugs. That’s what’s illegal.”
Fact: There are 340 million Americans. Last year, 62 million people died across the entire world. This is the same week when he said “smart people don’t like me.” But let’s just continue to ignore his obvious mental decline.
Trump: “You signed another document for a property in Georgia stating that it would be your primary residence for the next year…(this) calls into question your competence and trustworthiness as a financial regulator.”
Fact: “Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook declared in financial forms that her Atlanta property would be used as a “vacation home” and not her primary residence.” Nothing in Cook’s background suggests we can’t trust her competence and trustworthiness, but there’s plenty in Trump’s background that proves he doesn’t have either.
Trump: “Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives.”
Fact: The last 31 political attacks have been made by the right wing. It’s no wonder why the DOJ removed a 2024 study from their website that proved “the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists, including 227 events that took more than 520 lives. In this same period, far-left extremists committed 42 ideologically motivated attacks that took 78 lives.”
Trump: Just watch for yourself
Fact: This is bonkers. Either the President is directly lying to the American people on purpose or he can’t tell the letters are fake. And 75% of Republicans approve of his job performance (as of 4/23/25). This is BONKERS.
Trump: “Hard to believe, they have some states passing legislation where you can execute the baby after birth. It’s crazy.”
Fact: Murder is still illegal in all 50 states, but it doesn’t matter, because his supporters like when he lies. Besides, we don’t kill babies right after birth in America. We wait until they’re in school.
Trump: “Over the past four years, 21 million people poured into the United States.”
Fact, per the BBC: A report published by the Office of Homeland Security last year estimated the number of illegal immigrants living in the US, as of January 2022, at 11 million. It says about a fifth of them arrived in 2010 or later but the majority arrived before this time, some as early as the 1980s.
Trump: “We’ve spent perhaps $350bn… and they [Europe] have spent $100bn. What a difference that is.”
Fact, per the Kiel Institute Ukraine Support Tracker: Between January 22nd, 2024 and February 28, 2025, Europe as a whole spent $157.9 billion on the war Russia started in Ukraine, while the US spent $136.2 billion. Europe has committed an additional $110.6 billion.
