
In addition to cutting funding, Republicans are trying to impose work requirements on Medicaid, which is yet another policy taken directly from Project 2025. Due to the complexity and confusion this causes, it will result in people losing healthcare coverage, as we’ve already seen.
It’s a good thing Congress doesn’t have work requirements. They rarely have 5 days workweeks, spend less than 200 days per year in session, and don’t even have to show up.
Donald Trump is also fortunate he doesn’t have work requirements. As of April 10th, 2025, Donald Trump has spent over 26% of his tenure as President on the golf course. His golf course, to be exact. And as of March 31st, 2025, he has personally collected over $26 million of American taxpayer money from those golf outings. Rules for thee, not for me.
